Короткий огляд (реферат): Interpersonal conflicts increase significantly during wartime, negativelyimpacting psychological well-being and social cohesion. This research introducesan innovative educational game that teaches mediation skills through interactivedialogue with characters generated by large language models (LLMs). The gamefeatures dynamically generated conflicts and personalized responses based on playeractions, allowing users to practice mediation strategies in a safe and repeatableenvironment. The game has been implemented with PyGame and Gemini 1.5Flash LLM. We conducted an experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of differentmediation strategies in the same conflict scenario. Our results demonstrate thatthe compensation strategy proves most effective in our generated conflict scenario. What is more important, the game provides a quantitative method for evaluatingmediation strategies, which has been impossible in real world conflicts. This novelapproach fills a significant gap in mediation education, offering an accessible toolfor training mediators, particularly in conflict sensitive regions such as Ukraine.
